Governance
DemoWhat We Can Change. What We Can't.
Two lists. Two doors. One kept locked, one on a 48 hour timer. And one policy for emergencies.
Can Never Touch
- User fundsDeposited JBTC lives in user-controlled contracts. Governance cannot move it.
- Open roundsParameters of an already-open round cannot be edited mid-flight.
- Settled resultsOnce a round settles, the result is immutable.
- The fee routeEvery 3% rake goes to a public JBTC buyback vault. The route is coded, not configured.
Can Tune With 48h Notice
- Oracle feedsAdd, remove, or reweight feeds. Two-of-three still required for settle.
- Stake windowsOpen, freeze, and settle windows can be tuned inside a bounded schedule.
- Per round capsCap size can move within a floor and ceiling defined at launch.
- Market templatesNew templates can be added. Existing ones can be deprecated for future rounds only.

Emergency Policy
The Only Emergency Power Is Void.
If oracles fail, if a round is compromised, if a listing is fraudulent, governance can only void. Void means full refunds and zero rake. There is no power to take user funds, no power to change results, no power to overrule the market.
