The Round
Each real round runs one Bitcoin day. Staking opens at 00:00 UTC and closes at 20:00 UTC. A four-hour freeze window follows. Settlement occurs at 00:00 UTC on the oracle price. Winners split the losing pool pro rata after a 3% rake that buys JBTC back into the reward vault.
Freeze Window
From 20:00 UTC to 00:00 UTC no new stakes are accepted and no positions can be changed. The freeze is the same for every participant.
Settlement
The settle price is read from the on-chain oracle at 00:00 UTC. Higher wins if the settle price is strictly greater than the open price. Lower wins if it is strictly less.
Void Policy
If the oracle is unavailable or reports a stale price at settle, the round is voided and all stakes are returned in full. No rake is taken on a voided round. Exact settle equality also voids the round.
